Junior Kindergarten 3 & 4:
ABOUT
Our Mini Ballet class is for students currently aged 3 - 4 and enrolled in Junior Kindergarten at Pacific Academy. Students will learn basic movement skills, coordination skills, and foundational ballet steps that they will practice and put towards a year-end showcase.

Students will be picked up at their JK classroom and be brought to the dance studio by the instructor.
Parents will need to sign a permission form that allows the instructor to sign their child in/out of their JK class to create a seamless transition for students attending a JK program either before or after their dance class.
Pick up will be outside of the JK classes promptly when class finishes, or students will be dropped off at the start of their afternoon JK class.

ABOUT
To deepen our students' love and appreciation of music, we offer a beginner chamber orchestra and instrumental ensembles for students in grades 3 - 5 who have some experience in reading music. We want our students to embrace the thrill of performing, as well as participate in musicianship classes, which are designed to inspire and enhance a student's understanding of music while learning how to play a string instrument. Students will develop ensemble skills, musical interpretation, rehearsal etiquette, and note-reading skills.

ABOUT
STEM Education is an approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. Pacific Academy's after school STEM Fun! is the perfect place for students to explore, fail, and persevere while gaining confidence in STEM subjects. It is an 8 week program with a group of 12 students. Smaller groups lead to more personalized programming as students explore STEM fields through hands-on design challenges. Here are some of the activities and programs that your child will get to work with: Elecfreaks Building Kit, GiggleBot, Micro: bits, Balloon rockets, Vivify STEM activities, Building a Catapult, Building Structures, and more!
