BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE 2026/2027

About

The Before and After School Care program is available for Pacific Academy students in Kindergarten to Grade 3. Students who are in Grade 4 that were in Before and After School Care last year will be permitted to continue in the program for one additional year, if desired.

Registration

Applications for our Before and After School Care (BASC) program for the 2026/2027 school year will be open from April 8th to April 22nd.

Maximum Capacity: 24 Students

There will be no sibling discounts available.

Full-Time Care

Schedule

Full-time Before & After School care will include non-school days such as: 

  • Professional development days 
  • Student/parent conference days 
  • One week of Christmas break (December 28, 2026 – December 31, 2026)
  • Spring break (March 8 – 19, 2027)
  • Summer break (June 28 – August 27, 2027)

Please note that we will be closed for all statutory holidays as well as December 21 – 25, 2026 and August 30 – September 3, 2027. Childcare will not be available these days.

Cost

  • $575/month

Payment

  • Pre-authorized debit on the 20th of each month.

Dates

  • September 8th, 2026 – August 27th, 2027

All applications will be reviewed and priority will be given to families needing full-time care. Families will be notified by April 30, 2026 on the status of their application.

Part-Time Care

Schedule

Part-time Before & After School care will include: 

  • Pre-selected school days (before school care): 7:00 AM until the start of school
  • Pre-selected school days (after school care): After School bell until 5:30 PM

Please note that the Part-Time Care program is only available on school days, not on days when the school is closed (ie. Professional Days)

Cost

  • 5 days per week (school days only): $475/month
  • 4 days per week (pre-selected): $390/month
  • 3 days per week (pre-selected): $300/month
  • 2 days per week (pre-selected): $210/month
  • 1 day per week (pre-selected): $110/month

Payment

  • Pre-authorized debit on the 20th of each month

Dates

  • September 8th, 2026 – August 27th, 2027
