CLASSES


Singing & Dancing Wonders [ages 3-5]

Students enjoy a class with both tap dance and elements of music and singing. Students will explore dance and music through puppetry, instruments, story telling, and props.

 

Wee Ballet [ages 3-5]

Students explore an introduction to ballet movement and technique. Ballet focuses on developing musicality and grace through technique, posture, strength, and coordination.

 

Ballet [ages 6+]

Ballet is the foundation for all styles of dance! Ballet focuses on developing musicality and grace through technique, posture, strength, and coordination. Ballet classes follow the Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Syllabus.

 

Jazz [ages 6+]

Jazz is a technical form of dance that develops flexibility, strength, and style in dancers. It is a high-energy class focusing on technique and stylized choreography.

 

Tap [ages 6+]

Tap is a style of dance in which dancers wear special shoes with ‘taps’ on the bottom. Dancers learn about rhythm and musicality through the use of fast footwork.

 

 Hip Hop [ages 6+]

Hip Hop is a form of dance based on “street style”. Students learn the basics of popping, locking, and breaking to connect students with the groove and rhythms of music.

 

Song & Dance [ages 6+]

Song & Dance combines theatre and jazz style dance with singing and acting. Music and movement are integrated together to create an entertaining performance.

*Must be enrolled in ballet or jazz class.

 

Lyrical [ages 9+]

This style of dance combines elements of ballet & jazz. Lyrical dance is performed to interpret music and express feelings and emotions through dance.

*Must be enrolled in a ballet class.

 

Jumps & Turns [ages 9+]

This is a technical and energetic class, which will offer students the environment to develop their jumping and turning skills.

*Must be enrolled in a jazz class.

 

Pre Pointe/Pointe [ages 12+]

Pointe classes are designed for students with previous ballet training who are working towards dancing en pointe.

*Must be enrolled in a ballet class.

**Dance instructor makes final decision regarding readiness of dancer to dance en point.
