Ms. Cara Moore is a multi-talented teacher with a B.A. in History, TESL Linguistics diploma and B.Ed. specializing in Visual Arts and French. She is a BC Certified teacher and has been working with students from Kindergarten to grade 12 both in Canada and around the world. Cara has worked with Pacific Academy in various capacities since 2002 and has taught a variety of art courses for PACE summer camps each year since 2011. She is passionate about art of all kinds including painting, sculpting, mosaics, creating pictures using batik fabrics, fashion design and sells some of her fabric art from her tiny quiet town in Northern BC.
Sue Wright has 8 years of experience teaching Musical Theatre with the City of Surrey, and has been a music teacher for over 38 years.

Jody Wandzura has coached basketball for over 25 years and for over 15 different clubs and organizations. She has the skills and ability to help athletes take their skills to the next level. She is currently teaching PE in the Pacific Academy Middle School.
Adrienne Blas is currently at SFU completing her degree to become an elementary teacher and has a huge passion for photography, working with children, and teaching new skills. She is a wedding videographer and has filmed several local school and church events as well as worked at a non-profit organization that taught immigrant youth videography skills and helped them produce their own films. She has taken numerous film and photography classes at Pacific Academy and Simon Fraser University and looks forward to sharing her knowledge and passion with her students.

Alanna Banta has been the media T.A. at Pacific Academy for the past 4 years and is now teaching media in the MS and HS. She has been involved in the digital arts for almost 10 years and loves combining this passion with teaching, especially when it comes to technology! She is excited to help PACE students make some amazing creations this summer!
Riley Dueck has seven years of volleyball playing experience, and has been coaching volleyball for eight years and loves teaching volleyball to young students. He is no stranger to PACE, as he worked for the program for 5 years. He currently teaches at Pacific Academy.
Laura Couture is a recent Pacific Academy graduate who will be attending Trinity Western University in the fall. She has been working with the summer PACE team for the past three years. Her love of children, sense of fun, organizational, and leadership skills make her an ideal instructor for sports camps! Laura has been involved in a multitude of sports since a young age and has achieved Provincial medals in both soccer and volleyball. She has won many awards including, sportsmanship, MVP, and all-star awards in both school and club sports. Laura has coached as part of PACE After School program for the past four years in soccer, volleyball, and basketball. She has her “FUNdamentals of Coaching,” certification and she is First-Aid Certified. Laura is super excited for another great summer at PACE!

Teresa holds an education degree and is a grade 1 teacher at Pacific Academy. She also holds a Child and Youth Care degree as well as being ECE Certified. She loves making learning fun through games, rhymes, and interactive activities for all ages. She has 2 years’ experience teaching English as a second language and believes that through language and communication children explore and learn more about their world and themselves.
Linda is currently in her 11th year of teaching. After having completed my B. Ed. At TWU in 2007, she started her career teaching K-7 in Scotland until 2013, when she came to teach back here in Canada, at PA. She has spent most of her classroom time committed to the younger grades, but likes working with older grades too. Art is one of her very favorite subjects to teach, so this is her way to spread the joy!
Lin Harris worked in the Gordon MacDonald Library for the last two years and have been quilling for several years. Previously, she worked at a middle school where I had the opportunity to run after school quilling clubs for a few years.
Chef Nimmi Erasmus, our certified Red Seal Chef and high school culinary arts teacher at Pacific Academy. Chef Nimmi has been teaching at PA for 3 years and has worked for many restaurants and hotels in Canada and United Kingdom including launching three bistro/restaurants. One in England and two in Alberta. She currently teachers Gr. 8-12 Culinary Arts and loves spending her “free” time cooking and travelling with her daughter.
Sandeep Butter is currently attending University of the Fraser Valley working her way to become a teacher. She has played a variety of sport from volleyball to rugby for over 8 years. While in high school she started volunteering as a basketball coach and has been doing it ever since in both schools and camps for all age groups. As a coach she has learned that every student is gifted in some area of the sport and her job is to make sure they develop that area to ensure every student contributes to the team. She currently works at Pacific Academy as an EA.
Rachel Tang is currently training in contemporary, jazz, hip hop and other dance styles in the Intensive Training Program at Harbour Dance Center. Combining her passion for dance and working with children, she is also a dance teacher at Agape Dance. Rachel looks forward to sharing her love for dance and having fun with her students!
Joel Crawford is a recent graduate of Pacific Academy. He has played volleyball for 10 years, including playing for Pacific Academy throughout High School. As well as this, Joel played with Force volleyball where he was a three time Surrey Champion, one time Christian School Champion, and two time Fraser Valley Champion. Additionally, Joel has been a two time Provincial medalist, and a one time National medalist. He has also been an assistant coach for the past 5 years. Joel has been a leader for PACE Summer Camps for the past four years. Additionally, he coaches for PACE After School.

She has years of experience as a certified Lifeguard with the National Lifeguard Association, and has her Water Safety Instructor certification from The Canadian Red Cross. She is also certified with Occupational First Aid Level 1. She works during the school year as a Lifeguard and swimming lessons instructor, as well as a dance teacher for Agape dance and freelance videographer.

Vitally Ufimtseff is in his 4th year teaching Grade 3 at Pacific Academy. He currently teaches Woodworking to his Grade 3students. Vitally grew up with a construction background and enjoys working with his hands. He is excited to bring basic woodworking skills to any student wanting to work with their hands. Power tools will not be used. No experience necessary.

Jodi won the Junior Club Championship multiple times and placed in the top ten at the Under 19 Women’s Nationals. She has been successful in several BMO Canadian Women’s Tour events and other local professional tournaments. She loves making learning fun through games, rhymes, and interactive activities for all ages. She has 2 years’ experience teaching English as a second language and believes that through language and communication children explore and learn more about their world and themselves.
Linda is currently in her 11th year of teaching. After having completed my B. Ed. At TWU in 2007, she started her career teaching K-7 in Scotland until 2013, when she came to teach back here in Canada, at PA. She has spent most of her classroom time committed to the younger grades, but likes working with older grades too. Art is one of her very favorite subjects to teach, so this is her way to spread the joy!
Chef Nimmi Erasmus, our certified Red Seal Chef and high school culinary arts teacher at Pacific Academy. Chef Nimmi has been teaching at PA for 3 years and has worked for many restaurants and hotels in Canada and United Kingdom including launching three bistro/restaurants. One in England and two in Alberta. She currently teachers Gr. 8-12 Culinary Arts and loves spending her “free” time cooking and travelling with her daughter.
Sandeep Butter is currently attending University of the Fraser Valley working her way to become a teacher. She has played a variety of sport from volleyball to rugby for over 8 years. While in high school she started volunteering as a basketball coach and has been doing it ever since in both schools and camps for all age groups. As a coach she has learned that every student is gifted in some area of the sport and her job is to make sure they develop that area to ensure every student contributes to the team. She currently works at Pacific Academy as an EA.
Joel Crawford is a recent graduate of Pacific Academy. He has played volleyball for 10 years, including playing for Pacific Academy throughout High School. As well as this, Joel played with Force volleyball where he was a three time Surrey Champion, one time Christian School Champion, and two time Fraser Valley Champion. Additionally, Joel has been a two time Provincial medalist, and a one time National medalist. He has also been an assistant coach for the past 5 years. Joel has been a leader for PACE Summer Camps for the past four years. Additionally, he coaches for PACE After School.
Lin Harris worked in the Gordon MacDonald Library for the last two years and have been quilling for several years. Previously, she worked at a middle school where I had the opportunity to run after school quilling clubs for a few years.
Rachel Tang is currently training in contemporary, jazz, hip hop and other dance styles in the Intensive Training Program at Harbour Dance Center. Combining her passion for dance and working with children, she is also a dance teacher at Agape Dance. Rachel looks forward to sharing her love for dance and having fun with her students!
Svea Moody is a Pacific Academy graduate, currently attending TWU as an Education major. She enjoyed Theatre and Media throughout grade school and has continued pursuing these passions in her university experience. She has years of experience as a certified Lifeguard with the National Lifeguard Association, and has her Water Safety Instructor certification from The Canadian Red Cross. She is also certified with Occupational First Aid Level 1. She works during the school year as a Lifeguard and swimming lessons instructor, as well as a dance teacher for Agape dance and freelance videographer.
Tolu Paul is a former college basketball player with years of coaching experience. She was a summer camp coordinator at Pacific Academy from 2017-2019.
