ABOUT
Our Theatre Twist: Drama & Improv is for students enrolled in Grades 3 - 5 at Pacific Academy for the 2025/2026 school year. Designed to foster creativity, teamwork, and self-expression, this program provides young students with the opportunity to explore the world of theatre in a fun and engaging way. Throughout the course, students will: participate in theatre games to enhance imagination, focus, and collaboration; learn essential acting techniques including voice control, body movement, and stage presence; explore improvisation and storytelling, developing their ability to think on their feet; build confidence as they perform in front of others in a supportive environment; and develop strong communication skills and making new friends along the way. The Digital Masterpieces with Procreate art class is for students enrolled in Grade 6 - 12 at Pacific Academy for the 2025/2026 school year. In this hands-on course, students will learn how to set up and customize their digital workspace, build confidence with essential tools, and bring their drawings to life! The class takes students through the full creative journey - from sketching and brainstorming to developing a final illustration ready for print. Along the way, they'll explore key art concepts such as composition, colour, and textures, while learning to mimic traditional art styles, add simple drawing animation, and adapt their artwork into products like stickers or posters. ABOUT
Our Beginner Art class is for students enrolled in Kindergarten - Grade 5 at Pacific Academy for the 2025/2026 school year. Students will be introduced to traditional painting and drawing as well as explore mix media ideas such as print making, cyanotype printing, and 3D modeling with clay. Students will learn basic colour theory and mix colours with the 12 basic colours as well as paint with shapes. Basic techniques about how to use oil pastels and creating texture with them will also be taught. This class is perfect for students with little to no experience. Students will be required to bring a set of basic supplies (see below).

ABOUT
Our Open Ballet Tech class is for students in Grades 1 - 12 at Pacific Academy for the 2025/2026 school year. Students will learn foundational technique, proper posture, and graceful movement from this discipline. This class is mandatory for students enrolled in Inter Competitive Lyrical and Junior Pre-Competitive Jazz.

Students in Grades 3 - 5 who are enrolled in a dance class should meet in the cafeteria immediately after school. Girls will change into their dance attire in the dance room and boys will have a separate changing area (boys bathroom or single use staff bathroom, depending on how many are enrolled).
